The USTA sponsored tennis program at Apple Ridge Farm has many facets:

• Daily Lessons for all our campers during our academic Summer Camp
• Tennis Week Intensive camp session
• Tennis Carnival/Rally
• Middle School Tennis Program with four Roanoke City Public Schools
• Tennis lesson scholarships at Hidden Valley Country Club and other local clubs
• Lu Merritt USTA Sanctioned Tournament

The Apple Ridge tennis program is used as a vehicle for encouraging and enhancing the self esteem of our children. The exposure to the world of tennis and the development of their abilities as tennis players equips them with the skills and self-esteem necessary to overcome the barriers they face on a daily basis.

Our program also helps to strengthen leadership skills which  encourages academic success.Our children are exposed to a system of progress and advancement with long-term personal attention over a number of years that reinforces all of the lessons learned.

We are very proud of our long association with USTA and USTA / Virginia Tennis. Their unfailing support of our programs helps us to build dreams of a better tomorrow for our children.
