Apple Ridge Farm, Inc. is a non-profit camp for children and so much more!

Our primary mission at Apple Ridge is to provide outdoor and educational experiences for at-risk youth. We also offer groups and businesses a unique place to learn and build teamwork.

The Conference Center, Lodge and other facilities are available to business, religious, educational and social groups for meetings and overnight retreats, thus allowing Apple Ridge to generate income to fund our educational programs.

The highlight of the year is our eight (8) week Academic Summer Camp that is held at our beautiful mountain retreat in Floyd County. During the school year, we lead school groups on interpretive hikes that introduce them to the regional geography, concepts of environmental stewardship, and the ecology of our 96 acres. These hikes can be tailored to meet the SOL requirements for a specific grade level.

Our Outdoor Adventure Program utilizes our Team Challenge initiatives and the High Ropes Challenge Course to foster team building and self esteem. We also have almost five miles of hiking trails one of which is wheel chair accessible as are most of our facilities:
